Dr Rebecca Oluwayemisi Adeyeye popularly known as Dr Yemisi Adeyeye ( www.yemisiadeyeye.com) is the cofounder and managing director of Lifefount Hospital a leading hospital in Cancer care,Surgery and Endoscopy. She is a fellow of institute of management consultants, and the author of the book 'Entrepreneurship is a beautiful thing' which is a business management guidebook for seasoned and aspiring business owners who seeks to acquire business management skills. Dr Yemisi Adeyeye is an international mentor and trainer who has won several awards and recognitions including 2023 award of top 100 women creating a better Africa by weforgood international. 2022 award of top 100 most influential women in Nigeria by leading ladies Africa. She was also recognized in 2021 as a global leader by the U.S department of states under the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP). Also in 2021 she was awarded the Kwame Nkurumah Exemplary Leadership Award by ECOWAS Youth Council and the Entrepreneur of the year 2020 by kwaralive, Other awards includes the Amazon Award by LeapAfrica,World bank women X award, Tony Elumelu foundation award and Building Entrepreneurs Today (BET) award. She provided transformational leadership to over 700 business women in Nigeria post pandemic when she served as the pioneer president of Academy for women entrepreneurs (AWE) Alumnae which is a U.S. Government Exchange program which was part of the white House led women's global development and prosperity initiative (W-GDP).She also served as the state chairperson of NECA's Network of Entrepreneurial Women ( NNEW). Lifefount foundation’s project STEMSTEPS sponsored by IVLP impact award of the US department of States empowered 100 women ( fresh graduates) with digital technology and entrepreneurship skills in Oyo State. Lifefount business Network project facilitates business trainings, Seminars and conferences which empowers women and youths through mentorship, training and networking.
Lifefount Cooperative society project is a peer to peer funding of businesses from financial contribution of members. Lifefount school social impact project trained 35 youths on emotional intelligence, genotype education and prevention of sexual and drugs addiction. These trained youths then trained three thousand and eighty-six students ( 3,086) in 13 secondary schools in different communities in kwara state. Lifefount cancer awareness and screening project gave free clinical breast examination, mammography and ultrasound screening to one thousand and five hundred (1500) women in Lagos and Kwara States of Nigeria. Dr Adeyeye trained one thousand women and youths online on how to launch and structure their businesses during covid. Lifefount Hospital under her leadership trained about one thousand medical personnel on COVID-19 and cancer care with facilitators from UK, Pakistan ,Spain and Nigeria. Lifefount Hospital made online clinic available during and after the pandemic making it easy for clients across the globe to access healthcare.
Dr Yemisi Adeyeye trained 225 entrepreneur in 2021 on how to use graphics design to enhance their business growth. Her life goal is to use her experience, expertise and education to make her contacts better.
She is married to her darling husband Surgeon Ademola Adeyeye and blessed with two adorable children Adesewa and AdejolaOluwa. Her hobbies includes spending quality time with loved ones and visiting inspiring places.
